By adding insulation, sheetrock, paint, three closets, tile, a drop ceiling, and recessed lighting to their basement, this homeowner has turned an unused area of their house into a beautiful asset. The walk out basement's new sliding glass doors now lead into a well lit; spacious living area, instead of a cold, dark, unused cellar. The banister on the cellar stairs also increases the safety of the staircase for their children. The dark steel support beams are now encased in white pine columns. A new area of tile by the sliding door entrance will also helped reduce staining on the carpeting. The homeowners's are very pleased with the results and their 1 year-old daughter and family cat have claimed the space as their new playroom. |
