What they really desired was more living space, an area that could be utilized year- round, regardless of the weather. Our solution was to enclose the screened area of the porch to make a sunroom. After removing the screening from the porch, we framed and insulated the walls, ceiling, and floor in order to keep the room comfortable in cooler weather. We installed 11 custom windows and a French door to allow maximum light penetration into the room.
