We hired Home Solutions to renovate our kitchen. Robyn Brinkerhoff, the designer and coordinator helped us select our design, arranged appointments with various vendors and provided us with a week by week schedule in advance. The job went as scheduled thanks to the attention and flexibility of Robyn and her crew. Jerry , the carpenter, was in our home on almost a daily basis for 6 weeks, did a great job, had good suggestions, cleaned up the job area at the end of each day and was pleasant to be around. The electrician , Dave, was also very nice and found some unanticipated work that needed to be done but explained it all to us in detail before proceeding. Our kitchen is beautiful and the envy of the neighborhood. We highly recommend Home Solutions.

We recently finished our kitchen renovation and could not be happier with the results. Home Solutions is a first class design company. Robyn and her crew of contractors, led by Jerry, were extraordinarily professional the entire process. They stayed on schedule and Robyn provided us with weekly updates and quickly responded to any questions. She set up meetings for us with all of her suppliers (appliances, etc.) based on our availability. Also, Robyn has continual contact with inspectors, so no delays occurred. I cannot overstate how efficient her scheduling was. Going through any home renovation can be a highly disruptive process. Home Solutions made it as painless as possible. They cleaned thoroughly each day which did not go unnoticed. Most importantly, they delivered on the dream kitchen we hoped for. Before deciding to go with Home Solutions, we interviewed and met with many potential designers. In the near future, we will renovate our master bathroom and will certainly hire them for that job. My experience with Robyn Brinkerhoff was incredible. She was so receptive to my wants in my new kitchen. She took so much time with me with designing and color matching. I lack the female perspective on design and she definitely filled that void. She even took it so far as to meet with me at the stone manufacturer’s yard to help me pick out remnants for the countertops on my bathrooms, which saved me a ton of material costs. This is the second project Home Solutions has done for us. Prior to our first project with them, we had 2 other area contractors perform major renovations. After the excellent job Home Solutions did with our first project with them, they were the only contractor we contacted to do this project. There is excellent communication throughout all members of this company and with us. No detail is too small for their consideration. The thoroughness and timeliness of their communication is outstanding. They are easy-going and flexible to work with from the planning stage to the actual project. The quality to the work is excellent, top-notch. This project included a lot of carpentry and painting. Both craftsmen were very skilled and attentive to small details. I will continue to use Home Solutions for all home renovation projects knowing I will be charged a fair price and receive excellent communication, detailed design planning and guidance, and excellent craftsmanship.

When I finally got the nerve to renovate my tiny original 1950 kitchen and put an addition on my tiny house, I dreaded trying to find a contractor, particularly since I had hired a not so great architect to do the plans. I interviewed 3 contractors and Home Solutions immediately gave me a price of $70,000. I had a hard time getting a hold of one contractor who could never seem to give me a price and the other contractor started with a low estimate and kept changing it until he was the same price as Home Solutions. I went with Home Solutions because they did a friend's neighbor's house and Robin Brinkerhoff was a former student of mine. Robin was always a great student but she is fabulous as projector manager - pure gold. She made the whole experience so much less stressful for me. She helped me with the variance I needed to get from the town, She made sure the building inspections went smoothly. She told me when I needed to have appliances ordered. She told me how much space I needed between the refrigerator and the island counter. All the people working for Home Solutions were knowledgeable, courteous and thoughtful and they even had an architect available to fix something in the plans that my architect had screwed up. I am very satisfied with the work they did and it has been 5 years since the addition was finished and it still looks and feels greats. Since then I have also had them do my bathroom and the basement windows.

Home Solutions completed our bathroom renovation in 2014, which consisted of a complete renovation on our main bathroom and updates in our half bathroom. Working on two rooms can be challenging but Robyn and the team managed everything smoothly. They provided detailed weekly schedules so we always knew what was happening when. The quality of the work was excellent. We originally had Home Solutions do our kitchen renovation in 2012. After that, there was no question we would have anyone else do the bathrooms.

We worked with Home Solutions to completely remodel our kitchen (and essentially the entire first floor) in 2005. They helped us bring our vision of a more open space to reality by removing the wall between the kitchen and dining room, and partially removing another wall. They installed a granite, cooktop island with down draft and reconfigured the entire space so that it was much more open and user friendly. They installed beautiful custom cabinetry, granite countertops, tumbled travertine backsplash and stainless steel appliances. They leveled out the floor in the living room to correct a ridge in the floor caused by problems in the floor joists to insure proper installation of hardwood flooring throughout the first floor. They also replaced an old leaky sliding glass door in the den and installed tile flooring in the half bath. They were reliable and professional, using highly skilled, quality craftsman. They were proactive in communicating every detail of every phase of the work. We were so pleased with their work, we engaged them for two subsequent projects; a master bath upgrade in 2011 and the building of a deck in 2012. Not only were we delighted, so were our neighbors. 2 of them hired Home Solutions to do projects in their own homes.
